Mount Etjo Rhino Orphanage and Legalizing the trade
Royal Bhejane has been given permission to link this video on our website.
At Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, Annette and Alex Oelofse do everything in their power to protect rhinos, but efforts seem futile in the face of the ongoing poaching activities. Annette has raised rhino orphans and released them back to the wild for decades, and every single animal has its own heartbreaking story. Nevertheless, she pushes on, in the hope that the current situation will change. Sadly, the fate of the rhinos will be determined by those who have the least experience and knowledge, who are not actively involved in fighting this war. Alex Oelofse calls on world leaders, particularly members of CITES, to rethink their choices, to become more involved and take informed responsibility.
